Solvent Based

Humicheq solvent based, water displacing, non-staining rust preventive that will rapidly separate water displaced from metal surfaces following machining or cleaning operations. These products are designed to apply a thin protective film on ferrous metals. These films may be applied to the substrate by dipping, spraying or brushing.

Synthetic

Humicheq synthetic water based rust preventatives are recommended for short to medium term indoor protection. These products make an excellent choice as in-process corrosion inhibitors because they are easily removed by alkaline cleaning. They may be dipped or sprayed, parts must be completely dry prior to packaging. If a hot water wash and blow off is used, parts must be at room temperature prior to enclosed packaging to avoid any humidity build up.

Soluble Oil

Cadillac has a variety of soluble oil type corrosion inhibitors formulated with emulsifiers that enables them to be diluted with water. Films that are produced can range from oily to dry-to-touch. The dilutions create a milky white emulsion and contain no VOCs. These products are formulated with rust inhibitor with long-term rust protection capabilities, providing up to six months of protection depending on the concentration, and can easily be removed with a mild alkaline or solvent cleaner.
